Tasks

Understand requests from your accountant and how tasks differ from messages.

Tasks are concrete requests from the Numonis team, such as your accountant, payroll specialist, or Numonis support. A task tells you what action is needed, when it is due, and when it has been completed.

Use tasks for requested actions such as uploading a document, confirming a detail, answering a month-end question, or reviewing a date. Use Messages & Meetings when you need to start a new conversation, ask a question, or explain context that is not attached to a task.

Tasks or messages

  • A task requires an action from you.
  • A task comes with a deadline.
  • A message is a conversation for questions, explanations, or follow-up.

At this time, you cannot send tasks to the Numonis team. If you need an action from your accountant or payroll specialist, use Messages & Meetings instead and include the deadline if there is one.

Urgent tasks

Your accountant or payroll specialist can mark a task as Urgent when the timeline or impact is critical. Prioritize urgent tasks before routine requests.
